Aristotle and Galileo-free fall

Aristotle vs Galileo
Galileo Galilei

Galileo drops Aristotle

Aristotle was born in 384B.C.Greece. And Galileo was born in 1564 Italy

Aritotles, claimed that heavier objects fall faster than lighter ones. And Galileo drop him with his law of free falling object where both heavy or  lighy objects fall at the same time , with the same acceleration.
After 30 years Robert Boyle made this experiment in the vacuum, confirming the truth of Galileo’s Law.

Experiment: take a coin and a paper; let them fall at the same time. What happened? Don’t forget the resist of the air.

A free falling object is an object that is falling under the sole influence of gravity. Any object that is being acted upon only by the force of gravity is said to be in a state of free fall. There are two important motion characteristics that are true of free-falling objects:
·         Free-falling objects do not encounter air resistance.
·         All free-falling objects (on Earth) accelerate downwards at a rate of 9.8m/s/s.

The Leaning Tower is the emblem of the town that would probably never have become that famous if the tower were straight. The tower started to incline (now it is 6m out of plumb at the top) during its construction which began in 1173
